As the second of a total of four collector’s items from the Heritage Design series, Porsche is presenting the new 911 (992) Sport Classic. This model is reminiscent of historic models and the 911 (997) Sport Classic from 2009. “The Heritage Design models represent the particularly emotionally pronounced concepts of Porsche’s product strategy,” says Alexander Fabig, Head of Individualization and Classic, summarizing the significance of these special edition models.

The first Heritage model was the 911 (992) Targa 4S Heritage Design Edition last year. For the 911 (992) Sport Classic, the wide bodyshell of the Turbo was chosen as the basis. However, the side air intakes in the rear fenders were omitted, as the special edition model is technically based on the Carrera S. The hood is adorned with a rear spoiler in the style of the legendary ducktail from the 911 Carrera RS 2.7 and above the heads of the passengers is a double-bubble roof.
